Welcome to Lakeside, Arizona!
Lakeside is a small town in Navajo County. Founded in 1984, the neighboring towns of Pinetop and Lakeside merged. It is a popular summer resort and second-homes dot the area for Arizona’s many desert residents. In 2002, a large forest fire, the Rodeo-Chediski fire, threatened the town and many communities in the White Mountains, forcing an evacuation. The town is near extensive Ponderosa Pine forests, and is a popular recreational area.
Although the town only has a total area of 11.3 square miles, Lakeside Real Estate provides a centrally located area in which to access all of the many attractions in the White Mountains…..hiking, camping, great fishing and hunting, horseback riding, bird watching, visiting the many historical sites of the area and in the colder months, cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding or sledding and tubing for young and old. Opportunities abound for everyone to enjoy a mountain getaway, a weekend retreat or a perhaps, establishing a permanent residence in one of the areas beautiful mountain subdivisions.
